Speedpaintings

A couple of months ago I joined a blog called 30-minute Speedpaint so I could keep up with doing speedpaintings. Here are the ones I have done so far:

Lookbook

I started going to a website called lookbook.nu. I like seeing the types of looks that people can create. Here is a quick sketch of one look that I saw.

I kept this one looser in order to keep myself drawing. I may keep doing these when I cannot figure out what to draw.

Random Sketches + Progress

The past two weeks have been pretty slow for me in terms of drawing. I have been having trouble figuring out what to draw so I have been doing quick sketches about my life.

Last week I killed a fly and felt like a ninja. Then I ate cheese puffs.

I have also been working on a poster. In the studies I am figuring out composition and colors.

I also began working on this piece that I started a year ago. It is what I generally look like during the summer and is completely relevant a year later.

Weekend Work

Here are things that I worked on this weekend

Nerd

This was initially going to be a speed painting but that did not happen. It actually hasn't taken as long as other things. I am not sure which version works better. 

I thought the second one looked empty on the right so I cropped it

Patterns

Here are some patterns that I have been working on. I find that I do not use green that often so I wanted to work with it more

I also wanted to see how the color schemes would look on the different patterns

Revised

I changed added some textures and changed some colors. I like this version better
