More Things

I decided to stop working on that picture with the kid and the synchronized swimmer, I was not happy with the way it was going. I am still going to do something with the character but it is not going to be that.


I am also going to start doing quick digital paintings to learn more about form and a bunch of other things. A good amount of them will be referenced from pictures. This is the first one I did

More Progress

I have made a little bit of progress on this. I worked on the background and began roughing in the synchronized swimmer

Dump

This is the progress for the illustration with the kid. I am not happy with the composition right now. It looks too empty but I am not sure what else to add to the setting, I am going to add the swimmer but I want something else to be there.

More progress on this. The picture I am referencing has blonde and black hair but I don't like it so I am going to make it red and brown.

When I finished the guy, I realized that the space around it was pretty empty so I added the colored lights

I did some value studies and composition studies for my drawing with the swimmer

This is something I have has on my computer that I am working on.

Stuff

I am working on choosing how I am going to color the illustration. I like the bottom three but I think I am going to go with the second to the right on the bottom row.

Here is progress on this image. I am not too happy with the nose and lips so I will change those as I continue to work on it

Random Idea

So an image similar to this popped into my head last light and I began drawing it. I am not sure how to draw the face yet but I shall figure it out!

Summer Daze

This is how I have looked during the summer. Excitedly drawing on my tablet hunched over on my bed. I am not done yet. I am missing an arm and haven't rendered my face

Characters Colored

I finished coloring all of the characters that I am going to color. I will choose maybe 2 or 3 and explore those some more

Aang

Here is Aang from Avatar: The Last Airbender, one of my favorite cartoons of all time! This was based off of a picture. In the beginning of this I was trying to layer on a bunch of cool colors but then it wasn't saturated enough nor had enough variety in value, but I changed it and now I am happy with it.

Red - Process

I was on the website www.colourlovers.com and saw this color scheme here. Then an image similar to this came into my head and here it is. I will post the process shots once I find out how to make a GIF

Girl and Flower

This is something I am working on. It is a girl that is fascinated by a flower (which I haven't drawn yet) I am not really liking the composition and I haven't added in the flower so I will change it eventually and work on it.
